This study focuses on investigating the socioeconomic implications of the 2025 Massacre in Yelwata, Benue State. It covers chapter one to chapter five, with Table of Content, Abstract, and Questionnaire. The study will be guided by four specific objectives, four research questions, and corresponding hypotheses. The study will employ the descriptive research design, covering a population of residents affected by the massacre in Yelwata. The sample size will be determined using Taro Yamane formula for sample calculation, while the questionnaire will serve as the primary instrument for data collection. The data collected will be analyzed using descriptive (frequency tables and mean scores analysis) and inferential statistics. The analysis process will be carried out using SPSS v.25. Key findings from the analysis will be highlighted, and conclusions will be drawn from the findings. Recommendations based on the findings of the study will be proffered.
