An assessment of the perceived relevance of Artificial intelligence(AI) in improving adult literacy in Ikoyi, Lagos State

This study focuses on assessing the perceived relevance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in improving adult literacy in Ikoyi, Lagos State. It covers chapter one to chapter five, with Table of Content, Abstract, and Questionnaire. The study will be guided 4 specific objective which aims to; find-out the extent artificial intelligence(AI) is adopted to promote adult literacy in Ikoyi, Lagos State, evaluate the role of artificial intelligence(AI) in promoting adult literacy in Ikoyi, Lagos State, determine the challenges affecting the use of artificial intelligence for adult literacy in Ikoyi, Lagos State, and proffer strategies for improving the effective use of artificial intelligence for adult literacy in Ikoyi, Lagos State. The study will employ the descriptive research design, covering a population of 96 adult learners in 2 selected adult literacy centers in Ikoyi. The sample size will be determined using Taro Yamane formula for sample calculation, while the questionnaire will be primary instrument used for data collection. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive(frequency tables, and mean scores analysis) and inferential statistics. The analysis process will be carried out using SPSS v.25. Key findings from the analysis will be highlighted and conclusion will be drawn from the findings. Recommendations based on the findings of the study will be proffered.
